For agents & developers
Understand the system. Consult within its bounds.
Warm Winter is an Agent Systems Observatory: runtime evidence becomes one field, one supported conclusion, and one governed move. The Gate is its control boundary. Computational consultations provide bounded descriptive readings; they grant no execution authority.
Choose the existing surface
Explore the public Observatory instrument to understand the system view. Organization evidence and runtime connections belong to the signed-in experience. Read about the Gate for advisory judgment and its evidence limits.
The consultation REST contract in protected source includes queue pressure, conservation balance, and empirical tail risk. Deployment and model admission can change independently of this page: an authorized capability lookup is the source of current availability. Additional research and candidate capabilities are not promises of access.
Queue pressure compares supplied arrival and service rates. Conservation balance accounts for declared inflows, outflows, generation, and consumption. Empirical tail risk describes a supplied loss sample; it is not a population forecast or financial advice. None proves complete measurement, business benefit, or permission to act.
Discover, consult, inspect
All routes below require the explicit consultation grant. This is a public description, not an anonymous tool endpoint. The API base is https://api.warmwinter.io.
- GET /api/v1/gate/consultations/capabilities
- Discover admitted capabilities and current request limits.
- POST /api/v1/gate/consultations
- Compute and retain one bounded advisory reading.
- GET /api/v1/gate/consultations/{id}
- Read a result belonging to the originating grant.
- POST /api/v1/gate/consultations/{id}/feedback
- Record self-reported usefulness, not an independently verified outcome.
Every request names a capability and a source_ref (1–128 characters: letters, digits, underscore, dot, slash, colon, at-sign or hyphen), plus usefulness_confidence in [0, 1]. Optional task_ref uses the same reference bounds; optional run_id (1–64 letters, digits or hyphens) must belong to this exact runtime grant and organization. Unknown extra fields and nonfinite numbers are rejected.
queue-pressure:arrival_rateandservice_capacity, each in [0, 1e9];rate_unitis tasks/second, tasks/minute or tasks/hour. Capacity at or below 1e-12 is treated as zero; nonfinite output has an explicit marker rather than a fabricated finite value.conservation-balance: required arraysinflows, outflows, generation, consumption, each with at most 32 rates in [0, 1e9]. An explicit empty array declares no flows in that category. Onerate_unitapplies to all flows: tasks/second, tasks/minute, tasks/hour or items/hour.empirical-tail-risk: 1–2048lossesin [0, 1e9],alphain [0, 0.99],loss_unittasks, seconds or items, andsample_basisreported_observations, simulation or hypothesis. Alpha is a tail cutoff, not forecast confidence.

--data '{"capability":"queue-pressure","arrival_rate":8,"service_capacity":10,"rate_unit":"tasks/minute","source_ref":"my-task:rates","task_ref":"my-task:capacity","usefulness_confidence":0.6}'For these declared queue rates, utilization is 0.8 and the native regime is stable. Measurement uncertainty remains unknown. usefulness_confidence is the caller’s forecast of usefulness, not measurement confidence. Read the result’s assumptions, provenance, resource limits, and uncertainty before using it.
Missing, invalid, or revoked keys return 401; a wrong scope or inactive/unbound account returns 403. Inaccessible results or runs return 404. Unsupported or nonfinite inputs return 422; account request limits return 429; withdrawn model admission returns 503. Stop on rejection and ask the owner; do not broaden the grant or automatically retry a new consultation POST.
The current account ceiling is 60 requests per minute across its grants, or a key’s lower limit. This is not a lifetime spending cap. Requests retain supplied inputs, references, and result metadata as account-scoped evidence. Submit only data the owner permits to leave the runtime. Feedback remains self-reported and pending independent outcome; a consultation-only key cannot start arbitrary machine runs.
SDK source and local MCP
The published SDK repository owns Python and TypeScript releases. The release record determines distributed features. Backend-coupled SDK source in the private implementation repository can move ahead of a public package release; verify your installed version before using consultation helpers. The REST example above does not require an SDK.
The maintainer-only source implementation of the local stdio MCP server exposes simulate_decision and list_supported_verticals. It requires an authorized checkout of the private backend repository and its dependencies, launched from the backend directory with python -m app.mcp_server. No anonymously downloadable MCP distribution is qualified by this guide. External developers can use the authenticated REST contract above without repository access. Its local process and model outputs have a separate trust boundary from the authenticated consultation REST API.
Local stdio MCP is not a hosted remote MCP service or an OAuth connector. This page offers no remote MCP, A2A agent card, or Registry installation. External publication needs separate owner and security qualification. Simulation output remains probabilistic decision support, not validated competence or action authority.
This public reference was checked against protected source on October 24, 2026. A successful consultation returns HTTP 201 and a consultation_id for later reads. Feedback supplies usefulness: useful, already_known, incorrect or missing_context. Identical feedback is idempotent; different judgments remain separate records. Detailed source contracts and isolated authorization tests remain available to repository collaborators; public callers can use this guide and their authenticated capability catalog. Public documentation does not enable production OpenAPI or grant additional access. Review data disclosure and privacy before connecting.
